Studio

We measure products the way operators actually ship them.

Logictracebase started as a small critique circle for Bangkok product leads who were tired of importing North American activation folklore into apps whose users live on LINE, PromptPay, and shared family devices. The circle became laboratories. The laboratories became a studio with a postal address on Soi Choke Chai 4.

Mission

Our job is not to make dashboards prettier. It is to make Product-Led Growth Measurement boring in the best sense: definitions written down, events owned, cohorts reproducible, and expansion claims that survive a sceptical finance partner.

We work with consumer and B2B teams who already have some analytics installed and still cannot answer “what does activation mean here?” without a twenty-minute argument. That argument is the curriculum.

Pedagogy

Each laboratory is a sequence of briefs, critiques, and rewrites. You arrive with a live product, not a toy dataset. Instructors mark the tracking plan the way an editor marks a manuscript: too vague, vendor-shaped, or claiming a user moment the event cannot see.

We do not run “inspiration” weeks. Guest operators from Thai fintech, commerce, and B2B SaaS sit in on readout days and ask the questions your board will ask. If a metric only works in Amplitude’s default template, it fails the critique.

Community

Alumni stay in a quiet working group — not a noisy Slack full of job ads. Once a month we host a Bangkok breakfast for anyone in town and a remote office hour for everyone else. The rule is simple: bring a chart you are unsure about, or do not come. Vanity screenshots are returned with a polite note.

The circle currently includes product managers, analytics engineers, and a handful of founders who still write their own event names. We keep the group small on purpose. If you want a 2,000-person “community platform,” this is the wrong studio.

Student journey

Most people begin with Desk Trace: recordings, the workbook, and ninety days to annotate their own tracking plan. Those who need live pressure move into Signal Circle, where six seats share a twelve-week laboratory and submit weekly readouts.

Teams that already know the vocabulary but cannot get instrumentation through engineering often commission Observatory time: a quarter of taxonomy review, activation contract writing, and office hours with the people who will actually implement the events.

A typical Bangkok journey looks like this: audit in week one, ugly truth in week three, rewritten activation contract in week six, first clean cohort in week nine, and a board-ready expansion note by week twelve. Remote students follow the same calendar; the two annual intensives on Lad Phrao are optional, not theatrical.

Thailand, on purpose

Governing conversations, invoices, and in-person intensives are rooted in Thailand. That is not branding. Activation windows here collide with public holidays, school calendars, and payment methods that do not look like a US debit card. We teach App Analytics as if those facts were the default, because for our students they are.

If you work from Singapore, Jakarta, or elsewhere, you are welcome — provided you are willing to treat local constraints as data, not as noise to be averaged away.
