Refund policy

This policy applies to paid Logictracebase enrolments invoiced by the studio (Desk Trace, Signal Circle, Observatory Commission). The website itself does not take payment. Where an engagement letter states a different refund rule, that letter wins for that engagement.

Eligibility

You may request a refund if you cancel before materials are released (Desk Trace) or before the cohort start date (Signal Circle), or if we cancel a laboratory and cannot offer a seat in the next two calendared cohorts. Observatory work is refundable only for unused retained hours, calculated after kickoff.

Timeframe

Send refund requests to info@logictracebase.digital within 14 days of invoice payment for Desk Trace if login credentials have not been issued, or at least 10 full days before Signal Circle week one. Requests after those windows are considered only for studio error (wrong invoice, duplicate charge, or a cancelled intensive we cannot reschedule).

Full or partial refunds

Full. Desk Trace unused and unopened; Signal Circle cancelled by you within the notice window above; any programme we cancel outright.

Partial. Signal Circle after week one but before week four: 50% of the laboratory fee, less any Bangkok intensive costs we have already committed. Observatory: unused hours after kickoff, minus a 15% administration fee on the unused portion. After week four of Signal Circle, remaining weeks are not refundable because peer seats cannot be refilled honestly.

Non-refundable items

Travel, hotels, and visas for Lad Phrao intensives. Third-party vendor licences. Custom translation. Office-hour recordings already delivered. Bank transfer fees charged by your bank. VAT already remitted where Thai tax rules do not allow us to reclaim it.

Refund process

Email info@logictracebase.digital with the invoice number, the programme name, and whether credentials were issued. We confirm eligibility within five Bangkok business days. Approved refunds are processed within 15 Bangkok business days after confirmation.

Refund method

We refund to the original payment method where possible (bank transfer back to the paying account, or the card rail our accountant used). We do not refund in cash at the studio. Currency conversion differences on USD invoices are yours.

Cancellation

You may cancel a seat by email. Cancellation is not the same as a refund; eligibility still follows the windows above. If you simply stop attending Signal Circle, that is not an automatic refund.

Exceptions

Serious illness or bereavement documented in writing may allow a transfer to the next Signal Circle instead of a cash refund. We do not refund because you disagreed with a critique, because a vendor changed its UI, or because your engineer could not join office hours — that limitation is stated in the syllabus. Statutory rights under Thai consumer law, where they apply, are not limited by this page.
